Gp Needed For 33 Stars In Geo Ds Tb Swgoh

You know those moments in life, right? The ones where you’re staring at something, utterly baffled, and a little voice in your head whispers, “Is this even possible?” I had one of those recently, staring at my Holotable in SWGOH. It was just before Galactic War, and I was mentally ticking off my squads. Then it hit me. My beloved 33-star Geo TB fleet… well, it needed a massive upgrade. Like, “I need a unicorn to ride into battle” upgrade. And thus, the quest for a new General Grievous began.

Okay, maybe not just General Grievous. But you get the picture. 33 stars. In Geo TB. That’s the current mountain I’m trying to climb, and let me tell you, it’s a steep one. Especially when you’re staring at the enemy waves like they’re particularly aggressive seagulls trying to steal your chips. You need something solid, something dependable, something that doesn't crumble faster than a stale biscuit.

For the longest time, my strategy for the Separatist Droids in Geo TB revolved around a solid General Grievous lead. He’s the linchpin, the guy who makes the whole grumpy machine tick. But as the phases get tougher, and the AI decides to channel its inner Sith Lord, Grievous, in his current state, was starting to feel a bit… underwhelmed. Like showing up to a knife fight with a plastic spork. Not ideal.

The 33-star mark isn't some arbitrary number, mind you. It’s the gateway to better rewards, to more shiny things that will help me climb even higher. It’s the difference between getting a decent chunk of signal data and getting enough to actually do something with it, instead of just hoarding it like a dragon with a particularly dull hoard. And who wants to be a dragon with a dull hoard? Not me, thank you very much.

So, I’ve been doing a lot of thinking. A lot of reading. A lot of staring blankly at my screen, muttering to myself. The general consensus, when you’re aiming for that elusive 33-star mark in the Separatist side of Geo TB, is pretty clear: you need a really good General Grievous. And by “really good,” I mean one that’s not just “good enough,” but one that’s a veritable wrecking ball of droid destruction.

The Grievous Gauntlet: What Does "Good Enough" Even Mean?

Let’s break this down, shall we? Because when you’re talking about a specific star count in a specific territory battle, “good enough” is a moving target. It’s not like saying “I’m good enough to make toast.” This is more like “I’m good enough to survive a zombie apocalypse with a butter knife.” A very different skill set.

For 33 stars in Geo TB, on the Separatist side, your General Grievous needs to be more than just a leader. He needs to be the foundation of your entire offensive push. He needs to withstand punishing hits, he needs to deal out insane amounts of damage, and he needs his droids to follow him into the fiery abyss without questioning their life choices.

First things first: Gear Level. This is non-negotiable. You can’t be running a 33-star capable Grievous at, say, Gear 10. That’s just asking for trouble. We’re talking Gear 13, preferably Relic 5 or higher. The higher the Relic, the more survivability he gets, and more importantly, the higher his base stats become, which directly impacts his damage output and his ability to tank hits. Think of it as giving your general a really, really good suit of armor and a bigger stick. It makes a difference.

Then there are the Mods. Ah, mods. The bane of many a player’s existence. For Grievous, you want Speed and Offense. A lot of speed. Like, “outrun a cheetah on roller skates” speed. You need him to go first, or at least very early, to start dishing out those critical hits and applying those devastating debuffs. Crit damage is also your friend here. You want those hits to hurt. A lot. Think of it as equipping him with a sonic screwdriver and a laser pointer for maximum annoyance and damage.

But it’s not just about Grievous himself. Oh no. The droids are the supporting cast. The… well, the actual droids. You need a solid lineup to complement him. My current go-to is usually a B2, a Droideka, and an IG-100. But I’ve seen some players swear by other combinations, and it’s this kind of flexibility that makes SWGOH so interesting (and sometimes infuriating).

The Supporting Cast: Who To Bring to the Party?

Let’s talk about those droids. Because Grievous with no one to munch on is like a superhero without a cape. Kind of pointless. For the Separatist Droid faction, especially in Geo TB, you’re generally looking for a few key players who synergize brilliantly with a Grievous lead.

The Big Three (often):

  • B2 Super Battle Droid: This guy is the ultimate debuffer. He strips buffs from the enemy, and with Grievous’s leadership, he gets extra turns and can really start to snowball. He’s like the annoying cousin who keeps poking you until you’re completely overwhelmed.
  • Droideka: The squishy but deadly powerhouse. When in Destroyer Mode, they hit like a truck. And with Grievous, they get that crucial turn meter boost, meaning they can often get multiple devastating attacks off before the enemy even knows what hit them. Think of them as the surprise confetti cannons that are actually loaded with grenades.
  • IG-88: This bounty hunter droid brings the pain with massive critical hits. He’s a bit of a glass cannon, but when he connects, he connects. With Grievous, he becomes even more dangerous, as his attacks can trigger bonus attacks from other droids. He's your designated driver for… well, destruction.

Now, there are other options, of course. Some people swear by the BX Droid Commando for his damage and buffs, and he's definitely a strong contender. Others might even include a Separatist General Kenobi for the sheer irony (kidding! Mostly). The point is, you need droids that benefit from Grievous's leadership and contribute to the overall strategy of either wiping out enemies quickly or surviving long enough to do so.

The key here is synergy. Grievous gives his droids bonus turn meter, extra attacks, and the ability to heal. You want to pick droids that can take advantage of these bonuses and deal significant damage or provide crucial utility.

The 33-Star Hurdle: Why It's So Darn Tricky

Okay, so we’ve established that a high-gear, well-modded Grievous and a solid squad are essential. But why is 33 stars so specifically difficult? It’s the point where the difficulty spikes, and the AI starts to play smarter. Or maybe it’s just that their RNG (Random Number Generator) suddenly decides to bless them with perfect counter-attacks and debuffs.

One of the biggest challenges is the sheer firepower you face. The Separatist side of Geo TB throws some nasty combinations at you. You’ll face Geonosians, Jedi, maybe even some Light Side Uprising squads that are surprisingly tough. Your droids need to be able to punch through those defenses.

Then there’s the debuff game. The enemy AI loves to stack debuffs. Ability Block, Stun, Damage Over Time – you name it, they’ll probably throw it at you. A key part of surviving and thriving is being able to cleanse these debuffs or resist them. This is where droids like B2 become invaluable, and why having Grievous’s Omicron can make a huge difference.

The turn meter manipulation is another beast. The enemy AI is notorious for its ability to steal turn meter or deny it to you. This means your speed advantage can be completely negated if you’re not careful. It’s a constant tug-of-war, and you need to be on your toes.

And, of course, there’s the RNG. We all know and love (and sometimes hate) RNG. Sometimes, you’ll have a run where everything goes perfectly, your droids crit every single attack, and the enemy misses all their important abilities. Other times, you’ll have a run where your best attacker gets Ability Blocked on their first turn, and your tank gets Instantly Killed by a single basic attack. It’s the spice of life, they say. Or maybe it’s just the ingredient that makes you want to pull your hair out.

My Personal Grievous Journey: The Relic Grind Is Real

I’m currently sitting with a Grievous who’s Relic 4. And let me tell you, the grind to Relic 5 for him felt like an eternity. All those salvaged ship parts and kyros… it was a significant investment. But I’m seeing the difference already. His survivability is noticeably better, and his damage output has definitely increased. It’s the small victories, right?

My next step is to focus on optimizing his mods even further. I’ve got some decent speed sets on him, but I know there are players out there with absolutely insane speed secondaries on their mods. That’s the next frontier for me. The hunt for those perfect speed arrow and triangle pieces.

I’m also eyeing up some other droids. I’ve been meaning to relic my Droideka for a while, and I think this push for 33 stars might just be the motivation I need. The idea of a Relic 5 Grievous leading a Relic 5 Droideka into battle… that’s a mental image that brings a tear to my eye. A tear of pure, unadulterated SWGOH joy.

It’s funny, though. When you’re deep in the SWGOH grind, especially for something as specific as a territory battle star count, you start to develop this almost obsessive focus. Every resource, every shard, every mod becomes a piece of a larger puzzle. You’re not just collecting characters; you’re building an army, a force to be reckoned with. And that’s kind of cool, isn't it? Even if it means you spend an unhealthy amount of time staring at spreadsheets and watching YouTube videos of other people’s successes.

So, if you’re also staring down the barrel of the 33-star Geo TB Separatist challenge, take heart. It’s not impossible. It requires dedication, strategic planning, and a whole lot of farming. But the satisfaction of seeing those stars light up, of knowing you’ve conquered that particular mountain… that’s a feeling that’s hard to beat. Now, if you’ll excuse me, I have some salvaged ship parts to farm.
